Guys please share your views on my new shrimp bowl!

Its got garden soil with a layer of sand!
Flora: juncus repens and cryptocoryne

I m nt sure hw long d chingris will survive w/o filtration...

@Saman...Very well chance of survival. It isnt something new actually. Do a google search you will find many shrimp bowls.

However one thing to be kept in mind, that is the bowl should be densely planted to support micro eco-system. You can add some more plants like dwarf hairgrass, dwarf sag etc

Hey guyss here is an update on my bowl!

Its been around one and half months and the progress is Amazing!
The Juncus,crypt and vall.nana are growing really well!

Added 5 sakura shrimp who seem to be enjoying...

10% water change every two days,no filtration,ferts and co2.
Natural light in the morning and 2hrs of cfl 6-8in the evening!
