What happened to my fish ? Please help me...

Hello friends...

I am new to fish keeping hobby I have few fishes in my aquarium. I don't know name of this fish but last night I observe red clots on his stomach (please look into the picture in the url) I don't know what happened to it please help me in curing this fish.

In the time of buying did you see the red spot ?? If so it could be bleeding heart tetra or maybe i am be wrong too let experts suggest.

Its not a bleeding heart tetra. Because the red spot is not very prominent. Use a general aid liquid for 5 days daily. It should cure the fish.

Around 6-7 months and every week I do 25% water changes..

No there is no red spots at the time of purchase and it's been one month in the tank, the fish is very active and healthy. Fish is dead now i don't know what kills my fish :((

I think its a problem with food . I lost a rainbow fish when I was feeding him local flakes and he had almost the same symptoms. after switching to hikari micro waffers I never seen this .

This may be rather late to help you, but if you face this problem again here is what to do:

Put the fish in a separate small tank (Min 3 litres). It need not have a filter but an airstone would help. Add one teaspoon of salt, methelyne blue and neutralised flavin. Then all 1/6th of a tablet of Norflox TZ (get from any medicine shop). Change the water daily and replenish with the same combination of medicine. You should see improvement in 2 days a complete cure in 3-4 days.
