Its not that our country lacks the fund for building such facilities but what we really lack is the vision, dedication and honest desire for creating such a facility for fishes.

Wonderful!!

how well said bro! 0.01% amount of the total corruption in India would be enough to build a facility like this.

+ 1 and its good to see how their employees work.they are highly professional and meant for that job.
our work culture is all about 'fakibaaz' and 'schemebaaz' . :p
their workers tend to respond to the visitors very well and show them how it all works.

thanks for sharing dada. we are getting the look at the inner side of the maintence f such large facilities.

@Tirtha-Wonderful insight , Thanks a ton for sharing .

Since the discussion has drifted to the sorry state of our own public aquariums. Lets have some good news. An international standard public aquarium named “Blue Planet” is set to open in Greater Noida with exotic marine and freshwater fishes as well as native fishes . The promoters have plans to open a few more aquarium in selected cities across India.

So, lets look forward to a better future…..

Rgds

I know about it for past 4 years. Myself and Sujoy Da were actively involved into planning of the whole thing, as one of our friend is setting the complete facility. But it's been a very long time, there is no update on that. If it is done, will be one of it's kind in India with Shark tunnel and touch pool.

I read in a Delhi newspaper that it would open in January 2014, So lets hope for the best.

Once (if) it opens it would be nice to have some inside info from you about the planning that went behind it

Rgds.
