ATS got too bright. This is going to be a problem in my see-through cabinet. Should build a cover that makes it a heating furnace or should hide it behind the tank, that is the question!!

probably dim the light by adding some masking tape?

Or paint the glass thick white so that light doesnt leak out after going in?

That will be like wasting the wattage i am paying for. The problem is its coming to our eyes. Lets see, have a plan to cover it up putting it back of the tank

40 watts shouldn't add too much heat, obviously it would be more noticeable in a confined space.

Question what pump have you selected for the ats? I'll be building one for my tank, I'm looking at this one, as it can run externally, this I can run it outside of the sump http://m.indianaquarium.com/Water-Pumps ... 91894.html

I am using a 2000lph pump for this 22" screen ATS. LPH of the pump depends on the slit size, screen length and the height you will be placing the ATS from pump head.

Mithun, how are you protecting the lights from salt water spray. I had similar ones which rusted in 3-4 months. The paint on these light is very bad.
