Incase of a powercut, the skimmer pulls heavy water after the power is back which results in overflow from the skimmer cup into the sump. There's an outlet under the cup and the tube carries everything directly from the cup to the bottle, so i dont have to take out the cup and clean it every time, all I do is empty and clean the bottle every 3-4 days. Hence the "coke bottle" :)

Initially my Clown and Damsel was having a turf war. But now I guess they have negotiated their space. :-bd :-bd

it looks like a bicolor dottyback to me, it aint a royal gramma atlesat from this pic.
What was the cost? was it around 3K??

send a more closeup pic of the fish.
99% its a dottyback and not a gramma.

Subhadeep

You are correct. This is indeed a Bicolor Bottyback sold to me as Royal Gramma, I am feeling like a fool :(
My LFS charged me 1000/- for it.

Actually I wanted to get a yellow belly damsel, but this one was selected by my wifey, she claimed that it matches her favourite saree. =)) So i bought both.
Btw is it ok to keep a dottyback along with my clown and damsel?
