What that means exactly Abhishek? :O

Anyway, I have a question for all the mariners, Mithunda, the two Krishnenduda and all others, for layman like me it seemed like all your tanks have the same tankmates, fishes and inverts. Is it true?
And can we house more than one clown in a single tank? Then how big the tank must be, like 3' or 4' long? I heard they are aggressive. What is dimension of your tank Abhishek?
Regards,

Avik

@Avik, its possible to get more than one clowns in tank but its best to take care of their territorial behaviour by providing more than one anemones.. also not all clowns are aggressive.. maroons are most aggressive.. clarkiis are less so.. there is no thumb rule for tank size for that but I would suggest minimum 3 feeter..

Can clowns be considered as marine mbuna? overstocking for less aggressions and anemones in place of caves? I have seen a forest of clowns in a public aquarium. Anemones used to move, then how can the clowns claim the territory?

Avik

u must have seen juveniles.. as they grow aggression grows too.. Percula and false percula are generally kept for longer times in groups of juvies but that also result in torn fins and other damages.. as u also may have heard that clowns undergoes sex changes.. the most powerful and biggest one in the group becomes female and other ones become males as opposed to cichlids where males are most powerful..
