the sump looks neat, was it randomly made or the calculations for headloss and other stuff were done? Because, from what i see, the water level from the second chamber onward will be over the glass limit for the next 3 chambers.
Black zipties....where did you source them from? ebay or locally.

The sump along with the baffle adjustment was done by Buro da. He made precise height adjustment of the baffles to ensure there is no bye pass of water. With the right amount of water, the sump should operate optimally and water will pass through all chambers ideally. I will try to upload a video of the sump in operation once I have managed all the media and other equipments for the sump. Zip tie purchased from amazon.

I have used black rubber mat (used inside shoes) purchased from Paddapukur shoe market in the base of the tank instead of thermocol. So its more or less acting as a vinyl.

glass lid would be heavier specially when the length is 5'. Opt for acrylic instead!
Try making a canopy type.

Canopy type will also be useless as it will be inside the cabinet. I was thinking simple transparent acrylic sheet in 3 parts. I want to rest the light fixture on top of the sheet.
