I thought the RCS shrimplets will be red only if one or both parents are sakura or at least fire-red grade, but this is best answered by experts and I am definitely not one. My RCS are mostly lower grades and many of my shrimplets have turned out to be more or less transparent. My tank has now seen at least 3-4 generations of shrimps ever since my last update and not all of them are red. But I have not made any observations good enough to be conclusive of interbreeding.

Massive breeding and interbreeding does make cherries lose their glitz and glamour!!! ;)
