I also want to keep kanchki common in fish food market but all are sold dead no live fish and dont know from where to source it. Can we go some place from where we can caught live kanchki

So many of us have a hidden attraction for the Indian native fishes. So I think collection trip will be a grt platform to start it
Andrew da may b help us for the source or any better spot(IMO) ..
But nt sure because there also his business issues..

I think making it a family picnic is a wonderful idea. Involving your spouses and kids in the hobby makes it more easy to maintain the tanks.. Atleast its working in my case ;) She was also very amused seeing Sanam and Co getting into the much for catching fishes... lol..

In my case also it is working. This is the reason why I gave this idea.

Mithun da, imo family part is fine when the fooding part is not involved. the people who get their hands wet dont feel like getting out. and might miss their lunch :P. in my views, picnic might be troublesome as then we will have to arrange and carry food and water too for so many people. plus hygiene can be a issue. I think if its a day long one, we head to some dhaba and all. dats hastle free and we can focus more on the collection part. what do u say?
