Weirder_Weird wrote:Last Sunday(August 14th), there was insane variety of fishes in G. Street. I don't know if it was always so and I was ignorant all the time, but the diversity sure blew me away. There was this guy selling juvenile Aba Aba Knifefishes and African Mormyrids. There was also this middle-aged man with a prepubescent child's voice (hoping any of you guys might know him) who had many cichlids for sale, notably a Dovii juvenile. He also had Asian Upside Down Catfishes and a plethora of oddballs. If I remember correctly, right next to the entrance of the tram depot, there was this lady selling Batrachomoeus trispinosus (Not kidding!) Although I did not see the Hara jerdoni(My favourite catfish, have bought in the past, will buy in the future) for sale anywhere, but many other natives were up for sale. This guy had a tub full of assorted spiny eels and Mystus tengara, while another guy was selling Peacock Spiny Eels. Also, the number of Goldfish sellers were at an all time high.
I will have to be more observant from now on.
