Citric acid bottle loosing pressure

Postby thatssam2001 » Fri Oct 21, 2016 2:21 pm

Hi,
After researching and guidance from fellow KAC members i tried making the diy co2.

Fortunately its leak proof as i have bubble test it to make sure.

But after the end of the day i saw that the pressure in citric acid bottle has reached 0 bar.

What could have caused this?

Nope. Thats the think citric acid is as it is. It just the pressure which has dropped to 0 bar. Citric acid as it is and backing soda as it is.

In short the siphon is stopped. I think so.

I don't know why it happened.

try squeezing the citric acid bottle to re-start the reaction and build up some pressure again. see if this time the system retains the pressure.
