Is this version of Arduino multi-threaded? last tym I checked a yr back and those were nt having multi threading abilities and one needed to do easy things with timer functions and all. so much of a hassle.

But if this one is having the feature thn your work will b v smooth I guess. Great initiative btw. Will keep an eye on the progress.. \m/

Also do mention the cost of items. Dat will help one estimate on their budget and plan accordingly... ;)

Hi All,
Everything's fine except the Wifi module....i am not able to make it work....trying hard to do so.
But as requested the detail prices
1. Arduino Mega 2560 original from Italy : 3100/-
2. DS1302 Real Time Clock module : 300/-
3. ESP8266 Wifi module : 299/-
4. One Breadboard : 85/-
5. 8 Channel Relay board 12v : 269/- x 2
6. 20x4 Line LCD : 379/-
7. 40 Jumpers M/M, M/F & F/F : 150 each
8. Adaptor 12v 1Amps: 123/-
9. Some resistors 220, 330, 1K, 4K, 10K - 5 each : 50/-
10. Digital multi meter
11. 1 10K potentiometer
12. Some electrical boards of different sizes.
13. 3 Float switch : 500/-

Finally decided to go forward without the wifi module. Atleast make my dream project happen with auto top off and auto shutdown of some of the equipments during feeding time.
Please give suggestions.

Sanam,
Arduino is still single threaded. Thats bad, but suits our purpose for Aquarium controller.
