I know how to, with our Indian type wheel rods.....
As I have a 8 bigha pond...... :D
But I have some doubt about its success in Purbasthali jheel....
@avik do I pm you about another place, which I like more than Purbasthali for wild fish and aquatic plant purpose........ :-\
I have learned how to be a learner.....

First decide who will go. Some guys fear it's too much heat.

make a tentative list of people who are willing to go. Is it going to be a overnight stay? If so, then we need to find accommodation too.
AS xargon said, the rainy season might not be a good time to get in water as it'd be hard to collect fish. SO, is the plan feasible?

Where is sanammarik?

As most of we would be going from kolkata i think no need of overnight staying. If we catch 5:30 up katwa local from howrah we would reach the lake by 8:30. We can stay there the whole day and eventually return. Plenty of katwa locals now.

This is the season..after a few weeks water level might goes too high to catch fish. Arrange it around next to next weekend. I am also planning a trip in a waterfall near my place.
