the nitrate will reduce more and the nitrite will be around 5.
Then you can say that the tank is cycled.

I think the nitrate and nitrite should interchange place... :P

as it seems from the pictures there is no coraline algae on any of your rocks .so u need a rock with a coraline algae on it to spread on other rocks more over if you don't have a chiller they will not thrive . ideal parameters are sg of 1.024 , calcium of 380-450 ppm , temp of 25 c and at least 10 hrs of photo period .

hi.....robinz.alok...... :)

Your tank looks good. But you need more lrs for proper bio filtration and to kick a good marine echology....which is very important to continue a systematic food chain to maintain a good water quality.

For coraline algae either you need few rocks with coraline in your tank or you have to add a good coraline wala rock for seeding.
Yes temp. is a factor.....but for coraline you don't need a chiller IMO. In summer they may vanish but again in cooler season they'll appear.
But what you need a good water quality.
pH 8.5
dkH 9-10.
Ca 430ppm
Minimum 8-10hrs photo pereiods .
Think you are using tubes. It must 6500K-10,000k range.
Actinics has a good role in coraline enhancement as it prohibits nuisance algae growth.

But NO3 & PO4 must be zero or near zero. As these are the most ugly elements and food for nuisance algae, and these algae can cover entire rock scape within a short pereiod.
THERE IS NOTHING AS TRANSPARENT AS WATER. BE TRANSPARENT, AND WORLD COMES TO YOU THE SAME. ALWAYS KEEP SMILING.....

REGARDS..........
ASHIM.
