What is this Cilia?

Postby deep123 » Thu Feb 20, 2014 9:34 am

Newbie in saltwater. I had introduced new live rock in my tank 2 weeks before. just yesterday have seen some cilia kind of things attached with the coral skeleton & LR also which is moving in flow. its very dark green or almost black in color. Is this a kind of diatom or what ? yesterday i checked the NO2 & its reading zero. will this thing spread & increase NO2 in my tank?
