hello,
you can either install metal lamp 20000k (NARVA) with fittings or marine specific aqua coral tubelights with other kind of tubelights with a nice powdered finish hood of two or three feet and the tubelights are available in 1.5,2,3 & 4 ft. Otherwise you can install led 1 watt lamps of total 3 or 4 or 16 watt of blue or white. If you want then i can give youthe technical data sheet. The aquarium specific tubelights are also verz good and with a good reflector will give ample light.

Hello ,
NARVA metal lamp (20000K) is for Rs 2950 + Rs 720(for phillips choke) + the cost of fittings(there are three types one of Rs 650,other for 850 and the third for Rs 1400).
Then there are aquarium specific tubelights also available like aqua coral and oceanic light and oceanic star of 1.5 ft or 2 ft or 3 or 4 ft.
The details i will give in a few days when i am free.
Keep your aquairum simple and not complicated and aim for consistence maintenance rather than one time wonderful look.
Thnnking you

narva is a german company specialising in lamp and components.
It is manufacturing aquarium specific tubes and is working very nicely.
You can search it over the net and it is meant to last for a long time.
BLV does not have any warranty and has just been popular becuase nothing else was available...blv will cost rs 3850 + VAT.
You can even choose for aquarium tubes they also work very nice. There is a range o aquarium tubes available in narva
