substrate question

Postby indracalcutta93 » Fri Jul 22, 2016 7:04 am

Hi Everybody,

I have a dumb question here. Can white marble chips or coarse grain of marble be used as substitute of argonite sand in salt water tank ? Marble and argonite both are forms of calcium carbonate though the crystallizing structures are different. Someone have already used lime stone dust as substrate .

Seniors kindly help.
with warm regards.
