lastly...got some good quotation from a local LFS...

Main Tank- 4'X2'X2'
Sump- 2.5'X1.5'X1.5'
Light- 2 actinic + 2 white T5
LR- 20 Kg.
DR-40 Kg.
Argonite live sand- 20 Kg.
Salt- red sea croal Pro.
Skimmer- Reef Octupus.
Wave maker- Sunsun JVP202. need 1 or 2 please suggest.
Hydrometer- Online.
digital thermometer- online.
300W Heater.(Still thinking if i need this or not. As room temperature for all season remains with in 22-28 degc).
Return Pump- LFS will provide.(Still dont know the model).
API test kit- online.
Bioball & Ceramic ring.
Please suggest If i missed any thing. As of now for starting the tank in 2-3 weeks.. depending my work load and ...abroad travel.. :P

are you planning for just fish only tank or a reef system? from your simple T5 lights looks like just fish tank.
People suggest salifert test kits as a least brand don't go anything lesser. heater is a good to have for sure.

What model of reef octopus are you picking up?

reef octupus nwb110..

its FOWLR...so no reef....though i will start saving for a LED light in future.

Thanks for suggestion for salifert test kit...is it available online????

and what about the wave maker will i go for 2 or 1 is sufficient?

Hello guys I was looking for LED light Came with some option like below, can you guys suggest me if the same can be opted for my tank or not. Qty will be 2. Will be starting my tank by 3rd week of jan.

First of all 8500 is a reasonable price only if the lfs uses nbrand new glass. 99.99 percent of the lfs uses second hand glass hence the price difference.
99.99 percent of the lfs does not use polished glass, you can request for a polished edge glass for a reasonable extra cost or could bargain.
Explaining to start a Sw tank is lengthy and complex subject.
Rather one should get basics by reading on the internet and asking queries. Rather than pinpointing tiny miny stuff.

I asked the LFS for new polished glass and crystal clear for front glass.. :).. already ordered the aquarium...may be will get the same this weekend or next week.
