Very nice tank

I am new in this hobby and started with cichlids. Want to set up a planted tank . What could be a estimated budget with a similar type of set up as yours.

I am really sorry for not keeping up. Office and kids are eating out all the times. But gave a word to Sanam, that I will be as active as possible going forward. So am back. :D

This tank gave me a real satisfaction and it was a treat to maintain. But being a 90% stem tank, I had to rip it off after 100 days. But I didn't miss to record the stages of growth. Here goes few pictures of the tank between 60-90 days time frame.

After riping out this setup, started another simple scape last week. Will start a Journal soon.

Thanks a lot Sanam, Batty, Vikram. Glad you liked.

Batty... which Vietnam? Limnofilia?? Then it is easy to grow. They are nitrate and phosphate hogger. Just plant them and l3t them grow. Avoid frequent pruning as they takes a long time to start growing after every prune.
