i just made this system . The bubble count which started at 1 bps kept on reducing but citric acid is not being siphoned in to bicarb. i readjusted the flow twice it keeps on happening. Please help me sort it out.Am using my powerhead to diffuse co2 to my 80gallon tank.

I made this system with locally available stuff. i think the below pic wud explain better how i have setup.

The one with the gauge is the citric acid bottle and the other soda bicarb . From soda bicarb bottle tube goes to ball valve> flow control valve>bubble counter>power head.

I need to set the flow control valve several times a day to 1bps,.aAter 3-4 settings it stabilises for rest of the day. The pressure never goes down. it remains the same value when ball valve is closed. . Everytime the citric acid goes to bicarb bottle and co2 forms pressure rises too much and i have to manually decompress when it hits 35psi.I think reagents in soda bicarb bottle doesnt react entirely coz when i shake the bottle gas forms and pressure rises uncontrollably.
The tube in soda bicard doesnt go all the way down. Is that causing the problems?

Can you guys please help me out with where i can buy the needle valve, pressure gauge and safety valve? Also, what brands / type / specs to buy ?

The tube in the soda bottle is not till the bottom.ideally it should not touch the sedimented soda but should be under the soda water....so that the reaction happens properly and in continuation in my opinion.
But I am too confused on this part.as one day the pressure raised so much inside the bottle that my valve opened and from the outgoing pipe all solutions came out and was a mess.
Can anybody clear this doubts.

What is the pressure you are working at(the one which is same overnight). Soda bottle tube is not a problem as I have the same without any issue.

Increased pressure is for sure due to a leak. Do a thorough soap test of all the joints you have.
Thanks,

Yes I will check that.but just wanted to be sure about the positioning of the tube in the soda bottle.
