Hi, Rahul I purchased mine @ 8100 from aquashoppe.in (free shipping). My tank is 70G approx. Before buying my filter I also searched a lot about the best buy. I found Eheim to be the most reliable. Don't just look at the warranty period. As u have been advised before, u need to be lucky also while buying electronic items. But yes, Eheim will probably serve u for decades. (Some parts may breakdown, but to expect something to last infinitely will be ahmmm.. "too much")
. Another advantage with Eheim is availability of spare parts.
But now price has increased. I was not confident about the Chinese makes and u can read how I arrived at my decision to buy Eheim. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2782&start=10
A online site I found recently deals with Fluval filters. I read good reviews about it too but it wasn't available then. You can check it out here:

All the best.

Re setting it up: A cup of hot water is invaluable for expanding the hoses if you find it difficult to fit them to the non-flexible tubes.

I faced a funny problem when I tried to clean the filter first time. I closed the valves and disconnected the filter unit and took it to the bathroom for cleaning. But when I tried to open the canister, I could not open with all my force. I thought I may break something n returned to the tank without cleaning it as I had to clean the tank too! :-t
Next week, I went to the net to check where I got wrong! Then I learnt my mistake: since both the inlet n outlet valves of the canister were closed (during disconnection from the tank) the canister became a watertight chamber n it is practically impossible to open it. So next time when I took it to clean, I simply opened both the valves, n lol: the canister opened smoothly! "Elementary my dear Watson!".
Trickier, isn't it? :-t?
Haha ha.

I hope this basic diagram helps you. This is based on the Classic 2215/2217 but I guess they are all essentially the same. If you are stuck anywhere, please let me know. Just one point - inlet means water entering the canister and outlet means water exiting the canister. It took me a long time to understand this !!!! Because I was looking at it from the aquarium's point of view where it is just the opposite.
