Finally i can start my 1st planted tank...
tank size: 2x1x1 ft
substrate: coarse sand
light: 36 watt diy led panel with UJALA Led bulb :p
co2: diy yeast & sugar
filter: none now
flora: 1. Cabomba Piauhyensis
2.Eleocharis Parvula
3.Hygrophila Difformis
4.Myriophyllum Aquaticum
5.Myriophyllum Tuberculatum
6.Rotala Rotundifolia Green
7.Hemianthus Micranthemoides monte carlo
8.Rotala Rotundifolia Hi Red
9.Alternanthera Reineckii mini
fauna: none

I am planning to dose fertilizer with diy solution. an online calculator is saying the optimal level as NO3 -10-20ppm , PO4-.5-2ppm , K-10-20ppm. Are these number for per dose or per week?

Plan for filter immediately else algae will ruin the tank.

First read about ei dosing...get the macro ferts for dosing which generally include kno3 and kh2po4 and if you see you cant reach k level then you should also add k2so4..the ppm that you are seeing is for the week..say you make a sol of the above salts and online calculator suppose says that per 1ml dosing of that stock soln gives you say 2 unit of potassium and you dose for 3 days a week then in a week you have 2+2+2=4 units of potassium...thats how it works..but what you have to do in making your stock soln is that open an ei calculator and enter your tank capacity and it will tell you how much salts in gm should you add to say 1 litre water to make your stock soln and how much mls you should dose...generally we dose macro and micro on alternate days and 7th day being the rest day when the water change is made :) hope that helps.

thanks for replying. actually i can calculate required fertilizer solution density by hand. but i need to know what ppm of every element should be added per dose or per week.
