If you use ro water that this problem will be solved. Do you have well water / bore well? Near by if yes than you can use that water. And for now dont do too much water changes. Benificial bacteria will take care of that .25ppm ammonia.

Hope this helps.

how long has your tank been running? has it been cycled properly? I am guessing your tank is almost new with all new equipments installed and media isnt matured yet... otherwise 2 danios cannot create 25ppm ammonia.. for controsoil you should do wc every alternate days for atleast 2 weeks! if that period isnt over yet dont bother with ammonia as of now!

@thatssam2001 - its underground bore well water , about 150 feet deep , still some minor trace of ammonia ...I have aquaguard filter but its not RO ..i was bit worried about it and asked the water filter guy and he suggested this much ammonia human body is capable if dealing, is it correct ?

@Mithun - Its the third week , i did not know about changing every alternate day , i changed 80% for 3 days in a row and 2 times after that so 5 times in about 18 days ..

So i will add 1L seachem matrix as it arrives in 3-4 days then check ammonia in tank ...But the ammonia is my tap water is big problem

Do check your corporation water they might not have ammonia in it. Thats your safe bet. Yes 0.25 ppm wont hurt humans but not good for fish at all. In my honest opinion

Hi, the sponge is on each canister tray which comes with sunsusn hw 302 ... along with ceramic rings, aquaclay balls and soon i will add seachem matrix as well @SanamMarik ..

Sometimes the fish flash against the gravel but the ammonia must be makng their immune system weak, hopefully the media that i currently have will develop Beneficial bacteria to deal with it and seachem matrix will help further ...
