Superb work, any chance of you getting more Blue Rams. It somehow feels like a Cardinal/Neon or Blue Ram tank to me. But that's just me

Hi MB, thanks for your suggestion, actually this tank is already housing fishes beyond the tank limit and at my place in Ranchi normally you don't get the fish you want. Only we select from available stock. So presently not planning to add/change any fish.

Side effect of keeping a planted tank, some of the clipping regularly goes into the tub.
Tub is currently housing about 30 molly and 8 yellow lab fries.

Hygrophilla cherry red growing above water without any problem.

Thankyou Sanam da and Vikaram jee for your kind words.
Sanam da you have so many beautiful tanks + your dedication towards tanks.

@SanamMarik, I am new to the plants and experts appearance have reduced on KAC for sometime now, I have few doubts and expect you to guide me.

1. Color of crypt leaves:
-------------------------------

They have been growing without any issue but does the color of leaves points towards some deficiency?

Cryptocoryne Wendtii(Actually darker than photographs)

Cryptocoryne Parva(My guess)

On the edges of the leaves, dark brown lines can be seen

First planted tank - Deficiency

Postby Sushil » Thu Nov 03, 2016 8:36 am

2. Black spots on fern leaves
------------------------------------
It's growing without any issues, recently after changing its location + tank was without CO2 for abt 10 days(Excel was dosed during that period).
I observed black spot when tank was without CO2 for 4-5 days.

Is CO2 is the reason for black spots or something else?

Microsorium Pteropus. "Wrinkled Leaf"

3. Browning of mosses
----------------------------
Moss was introduced in the tank recently when tank was without CO2 and on excel dosing.
There is lot of new growth which are green but the old leaved look brown, what could be reason for same?

Actual color of moss appear darker than the picture

Dats nt Parva sadly... :(

Frm my observations i hav seen dat crypt leaves stay green under low light nd turns brown under high light.

Browning of moss happens due to temp rise. Colder temps keep thm green. Like 28°C nd below.

Blackening of fern i hav observed due to low light in my tanks...

However there are other reported occurrences of fern blackening inspite of gud lights nd we r yet to know d reasons... :D
