Pm'ed you the contact. From Gujarat.

Change of socks depends on your stocking and feeding. A change in once in 4-5 days is what you are looking at.

Haha no mate. The socks should be washed after use ;)

What I do is, I have 8 socks that I use. When I am down to the last two I wash all of them together. I bleach soak the sock for a day and put them in the washing machine.
*** beware of mom aunty sil or wife*** they will take your case for using the washing machine lol I manage to slip by :D

Also, what's the height of the sump? If you have more that 18" I would definitely opt for a 17" height on the socks. Gives more time in hand in between changes ;)

Started adding micro and macro fertilizers a week ago. Bought from a guy who prepares the dry ferts. A solution of them was made. No idea on the exact concentrations of the ingredients. His recommended dosing was 1 ml to 40 litres of water per week(about 60 ml for my tank) with weekly water changes. Micro and macro to be added on different days. Similar to EI I guess. I'll prepare my own dry ferts after this.

But my tank is not heavily planted and low tech with monthly water changes. So I'll be adding about 1/3rd dosage (20ml) per week.

Since a week there has beem some noticeable change in the plants. The plants appear greener and brighter i think.
