Dragon and Plants

Postby saumyarc » Tue May 01, 2012 5:22 pm

Has anybody ever successfully used plants in a dragfon fish tank ? I am looking for strong low maintainance plants. Can you help ?

I have a Australian Pearl Dragon 10" in a 4' x 1.5' x 2' tank(LxWxD)

I plan to use
Carrib Sea Eco Complete Substrate
DIY Co2
Fertilizers

Temp: Around 26 C

Floating plants as well as Submerged plants would be great.

Ok. Do you think Indian Bolbitis will thrive with DIY CO2 ?
And I have a Big almost 2 ft high Marble Queen Amazon in another tank. Should I shift it here ? :?:

Don't take risk with healthy plants which are growing in your other tank except those I said above.

You can try out local Vals too.

I have seen an arowana tank fully planted inside a shoe shop in Europe, I think aros are not interested in plants, nor they are digger. I did not keep aro, so am not too sure about their behaviour.
