Wow :D I also can identify plants!!!???!!!unbelievable... :o

I just felt its looking close to "Hygrophila pinnatifida", I have recently seen the submerged form with Devda at his house and its is very different from the emersed, I searched in google and found a awesome link of our Akshay Khare, you may like it...

Yep... Akshay was the first among the hobbyists who raid the actual habitat and document it.

Good to know the stem is doing well Tirtha!
I collected this on a trip with Akshay.

For those of the concerned lot, regarding the status of the plant in the wild, it is distributed in a particular region widely, and is observed in plenty in the monsoons. Now whether the concerns are genuine, or out of commercial interests, is another question. ;)

Really shocked to know these sold at 700-800 bucks btw!!

some schistura denisonii, rasbora daniconius, lots of caridinia sp. and garra sp. We have to do this place sometime in the night, to look for catfish in the leaf litter.
