it can even be acicularis . all you need to do is manually remove the algae and it will be okay.

Thanks for the ID. That makes sense. I had ordered them as DHG and planted them on the foreground... :D

Ebay. There is a seller from Cochin. Ordered it along with crypts, H difformis and Hornwort. Those were my starting plants.

on planting DHG the thing i noticed with growth is that the new leaves tend to fan out rather than remain straight.
whereas in acicularis it grows spiky straight.
most sellers indeed give acicularis in the name of dhg.
and ebay india is nothing as comapred to ebay singapore.

How ur tank has filled up.. \m/ Its time to add some fishes and its time for some trimming too. Are u still on DIY CO2? Who was taking care of ur plants when u were out? When I had gone on vacation for 5days, a lot of my plant leaves got yellow.
Anyways, I too like the jungle look as it is something I can always do. Haha ha. :)

I have molly fry for fish and a ton of snails!!! :D
I'll trim today and plant those new plants. New additions to the 'Jongol'.
Yes DIY CO2 is there, aim was to create a CO2 and Fert independent system (as described in Diana Walstad's book) but I am getting algae problem every time I disconnect the CO2 system or when the sugar solution is used up. I am assuming CO2 is keeping the algae down by accelerating plant metabolism and growth but I am getting nutrient deficiency in return (leaf holes and yellowing).
Our maid was there during the day, switched on the lights and pump on time and did a 10% water change once, from the surface. That's it.

Didn't get the last line bro.
Speaking of Ebay Singapore, the Java Fern and Anubias were bought from a seller on Ebay Singapore / Malaysia.
