Most Quiet Air Pump

Postby jaganidishant » Sun Jun 19, 2016 10:48 am

Hello ,
As the subject suggests i was looking for an super quiet air pump. As we all know that air pumps are the most noisy component of our aquariums .There are many hacks available to reduce the noise but not completely kill the noise. So request fellow members to suggest names of air pumps that are noise free through their experience as most air pumps are advertised as silent but they aren't.
Thank You.

Sera air pumps are best, though they are a bit costly. I was frustated with the noise of local air pumps as it was disturbing my calls ..sera to rescue :)

By putting a sponge below local air pumps doesn't works. There is something metallic inside the air pump that vibrates. :(
