Stand for a 4 feet Cichlid Setup

Postby Rohan » Thu May 26, 2016 5:56 pm

Guys i want to make an aquarium stand having dimensions 54" X 20" X 36" (LBH) made of 'L' shaped 1.5" iron. Would this be safe for a Cichlid setup(Malawi/Tanganyikan) ?

The following picture is for reference purpose:

I will add 3 supports on the top just like the ones shown at the bottom part. Would use a 1" ply at the top to place the tank.

I would suggest to give one additional vertical support at the centre.

Rohan, I'll suggest you to go for a wooden stand. it will be little costly but safe.
