Dophin cf300 has max 410L output
Sunsun 302 has max 1000L output.

It is generally suggested to have 10x flow for good circulation and filtration. Now canister capacity/output should be your primary concern before deciding and not the price alone, IMO. And remember max output is at ideal conditions like height, canister clogging etc.

the shortlist was just for reference purpose . wanted to know the reviews of the companies as the topic states.realised soon enough that c300 and 603b are nothing more than larger hang on back filter and not at all suitable for tanks the above mention size.

As far as review is concerned, I have been using sunsun 302 since over 6 month. This is my first canister filter. Quite satisfied with it. Running in my 30x12x18 tank, substantial flow. Built and accessories of good quality. Havent used Dophin, so cannot comment. Point to be noted is sunsun have been manufacturing canisters for other companies since a long time. It is comparatively recent that they are selling them with their own tag and much much cheaper.

It is not the output which should be in mind always. You need to check how much head you need as after few years, when the pump will become slower it will not be able to throw the water that height.
