Aquascape Twin island (New Image added 20th june)

Postby toomanyfish » Fri May 26, 2017 8:21 am

Aquascape "Twin island" is the 3rd layout in the big 7 footer at home. A classical strain of discus blue turquoise along with rummy nose ramarezi corydorus and ottos make up the fish list. Java ferns annubias coffefolia and cryptocryne wenditti are the plants used. Was totally inspired by Jeffrey Senske 's tank with blue diamond discus he had setup a while back. My first attempt was terrible so went in other directions for a couple of years with this tank and reattempted this scape after a little more experience
Would love to know what you all think!

simplistic yet pretty.. very well done! rummynose may be in threat once the discus grows a little bigger..

Love the lighting and layout. I am guessing that you have two led spot lights there? Can you show how they are done?

What kind of filtration and fertilizers are you using ?

So eight 2 feet tubes? Looks lovely though.
