3.Geophagus Altifrons
4.Geophagus Brasilensis
5.Geophagus Winemilleri

I think the proper term should be availability rather than rarity. Sometimes they are everywhere, sometime you can not find a single specimen. But the scenario is much better these days, with lots of geo keeper. Piyush and Nikhil (find them in facebook) are into Geo presently, Prem bro always has some geos in his tank. @Viper should have a good stock of redheads.

Again, price depends on the availability. And I forgot even the approx prices of the fishes. If you need to know how to house them or tankmates or foods, I can help you..atleast with the redheads.
Regards,

Avik

Can you first search for the redheads threads in the forum, then ask particular question. It will be easier to answer. What is the tank dimension? You must not keep any corydoras with the geos. They got stuck in the geos mouth.

Avik

Tank Dimension:81 * 40 * 60 cm

That's a 2.5' tank? Not a good choice for redheads then.

U sure u can upgrade to a 4 feeter, right. In that case better start with a gr of 5-6 babies..better chance to get a breeding pair. But remember u keep them long time in 2.5', they can not grow. Also it ll be easier to maintain water quality in a 4 feeter. The geos ll continuously dig the substrate.
