Leleupis having a hard time with diet.

Postby el batty » Tue Jan 20, 2015 4:37 pm

As the name suggests, i am having a hard time feeding these tangs..i have tried feeding them Hikari Cichlid Excel (sinking) as well as Hikari Cichlid Gold...but they have shown no interest after taking in their mouth.
I was lastly cornered and fed them bloodworms after curing, but i am getting feedbacks from all over that they are not finiccky eaters. so what is the prob? Is it the fish in general or that is some problem that is only related to my stock?

Anyone had any such experience like this before?
Regards,
Subhadeep

Try crushed pellets..what's the avg size of the fishes? Try other pellets, it may so happen that these fishes are raised on live food. In that case, it ll take time.

Have you tried any non specialized food, such as tropical pellets, or tropical wafers? Change the brand, if possible.
Non specialized as in not intended especially for cichlids or such.
